Scotland's Award Winning Neurodivergent Hub - HEAT 25 Forth Valley Winner

About ExploreBuddy Ltd.

Change The View. Change The Life.

Our Company

At ExploreBuddy, we believe neurodivergent individuals deserve more than just understanding - they deserve action, affirmation, and environments that help them thrive.

We’re not just a service. We’re a movement.

Across the UK, families, schools, and organisations turn to us because we offer something rare: complete, connected support for every stage of life and every space we live, learn, and work. From coaching and CPD-accredited training to workplace inclusion and environmental accessibility reports, we bring together lived experience, professional expertise, and a deep commitment to change.

We’re proud to be one of the UK’s most comprehensive neurodivergent support hubs but what matters most is this:

We listen with care. We respond with insight. We shape support around what matters most.

Whether you're a parent seeking guidance, a teacher building inclusive classrooms, or an employer striving to support your team, ExploreBuddy is here to help you build a world where neurodivergent people don’t just fit in. They belong.

Our Mission

Our mission is to empower families, professionals, and organisations with practical strategies, inclusive solutions, and compassionate support. We are committed to:

Building stronger connections between children, families, and professionals.

Promoting environments where neurodivergent people feel respected and valued.

Replacing “quick fixes” with long-lasting, sustainable approaches that foster confidence, calm, and growth.

Bridging the gap between professional expertise and real-life experience so support is both evidence-based and deeply personal.

Our Approach

ExploreBuddy provides personalised, neuro-affirming support for neurodivergent families and organisations.

We incorporate the Deep Lens Model which is an innovative framework that can be adapted that looks beyond the one-size-fits-all approach.

Instead of focusing on compliance or surface-level behaviour, we explore the deeper layers that shape experiences through special interests such as sensory needs, emotional regulation, and co-regulation.

This allows us to create personalised, lasting support that works for both families and organisations.

Founder's Story

ExploreBuddy was created as a one-stop hub for neurodivergent needs, a space where parents can find understanding and guidance, children can receive support with anxiety, mood, or sensory sensitivities, and schools, organisations, and workplaces can access expertise in building truly inclusive environments.

The founder, Lucinda Wiley, is an Specialist Mental Health Nurse, trained at the University of Stirling, with extensive background in psychological interventions. She gained additional expert training in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities at the University of Leeds, along with advanced study in Inclusive Practice and Sensory Integration which has shaped a career dedicated to supporting neurodivergent individuals of all ages. She is a member of the Nursing and Midwifery Council and the UK Society of Behaviour Analysis.

Lucinda’s work has spanned children, adults, and professionals, with a focus on tailoring

approaches to meet individual needs. Through years of practice, she developed the Deep Lens Model, a strengths-based, neuroaffirming framework designed to highlight the power of special interests in creating emotional safety, connection, and growth.

At the heart of ExploreBuddy is a commitment to providing compassionate, practical, and evidence-informed support that celebrates strengths, fosters understanding, and creates environments where neurodivergent people and their families can truly be their authentic self.
