Why Choose Us?
At ExploreBuddy, we specialise in empowering parents and carers of neurodivergent children and young people through high-quality training and personalised support. Families choose us because our approach is not only compassionate and inclusive—but practical, empowering, and rooted in real experience.
Here’s why our training and support make a lasting difference:

Training Designed For Parents, By a Specialist
Our signature CPD accredited workshops are built specifically for parents and carers—not professionals—so they’re clear, relatable, and full of real-world tools you can actually use.

Easy to Understand, Easy to Apply
We break down complex topics like sensory needs, emotional regulation, co-regulation, and behaviour into digestible sessions that help you feel more confident, calm, and connected.

Neuro-Affirming, Not Behaviour-Based
Unlike traditional behaviour-focused models, our training respects neurodivergent experiences and helps you build trust, communication, and regulation—not just compliance.

Backed by Experience and Evidence
Our courses draw on professional qualifications in mental health, SEND, and sensory integration—combined with years of direct experience supporting families, both in homes and clinical settings.

Support That Goes Beyond Training
We don’t just offer theory—we’re here to help you implement what you learn, with options for follow-up support, child sessions, and advice tailored to your unique family situation.
Who We Are
ExploreBuddy is a specialist service offering compassionate, practical support to parents and carers of neurodivergent children and young people. We provide a unique combination of tailored training and sensory-informed, skill-based support, grounded in both professional expertise and lived experience.

Our mission is to empower families with tools that are realistic, respectful, and truly helpful in everyday life. We understand the challenges that can come with dual diagnoses, sensory needs, or emotional regulation difficulties, and we meet each family where they are—with no judgment, only support.

Our training is designed specifically for parents and carers, not professionals. Sessions focus on building understanding, communication, and connection, with strategies that are easy to apply at home. Alongside this, we offer 1:1 support for children and young people that is playful, individualised, and guided by their interests, needs, and communication style.
Whether you’re looking for guidance, reassurance, or a more neuro-affirming approach, ExploreBuddy is here to support you and your child or young person to feel confident, connected, and understood.
